In the U.S., the average luxury hotel suite is estimated to be around 600 square feet (excluding the bathroom), but Hotel Resource aims to show that a room half that size can deliver the same high-end amenities and traveler experience. Hotel Resource will be filled with transforming, space-saving pieces like a fold-out sofa/wall bed combination, a media center that becomes a dining/work table with seating for six, and a brand new line of Brooklyn-made furniture designed in collaboration with New York-based Think Fabricate.

Called “Kinetic,” the new collection will fuse Resource’s multi-functional furniture expertise with Think Fabricate‘s ability to produce innovative, locally-made products. Three Kinetic pieces – Lift (a coffee table that also functions as a work station and storage space for remotes, laptops and magazines), Hide & Seek (a modular, customizable, wall-mounted cabinet system), and Slide (a credenza with a secret mini refrigerator and storage drawers) – will debut at Hotel Resource next week.
