This enchanted treehouse hideaway may look like elves or princesses might emerge at any moment, but it was actually built for human inhabitants to enjoy. Designed by Blueforest, who specializes in bespoke tree abodes, the elevated home is located at a secret location in the UK (we've emailed them for a clue) that looks a lot like a fairy tale forest. In addition to a perfectly shaped thatched roof, the house boasts a 45 meter zip wire that lets children "fly" right out of it!
The captivating home is enveloped in a bevy of indigenous foliage, which adds to its storybook appearance. Its 6 meter high tower, with its large gothic arched window, is a wonderful vantage point to catch a glimpse of the deer, grouse and pheasants that live in the surrounding forest. To reach it, kids can make their way up the dizzying spiral staircase inside.
Blueforest designs all kinds of unique treehouses customized to meet their clients’ wildest dreams. They also offer the option to outfit any of these structures with sustainable features from solar water heating to composting toilets to rainwater harvesting systems.
