Le Gallilée consists of two offices measuring 5,000 square meters and 5,500 square meters, for a combined total space of 10,500 square meters. A sinuous strip of concrete links the two streamlined structures together, forming a cohesive whole with a sweeping, modern aesthetic — fitting, granted the region is known for producing Airbus planes.

Through a set of smart green building strategies the “bioclimatic” buildings are able to significantly reduce their environmental footprint. Their sun-screening facades feature high-performance glazed windows shielded by a series of wooden ridges that provide ample daylighting while minimizing solar gain on hot days. Water-efficient fixtures and smart building systems round out the project’s eco credentials, and its location next to a wide variety of public transportation helps cut cut down on carbon-heavy commutes.
