If the Abyss Table seems familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen Duffy’s previous take on the gorgeous conversation piece. Unlike the first version however, the new Abyss Table is set atop a dark, four-sided base, includes lighting, and features two deep hollows that are even more pronounced and dramatic than those in the predecessor. The Duffy London design team spent a year perfecting the table in their London studio.

“Duffy London casts an eye downwards – looking to the depths of the ocean to dream up a dramatic new dining table, that introduces the majesty of the big blue to the interior,” says a statement on the website. The Abyss Table is handmade from ethically sourced materials, including high-grade, FSC-certified wood. The table measures 200 centimeters in length, 100 centimeters in width, and 75 centimeters in height. The limited edition table is sold for £28,500.00 each. Only 25 editions are available.
