Located on the corner of 40th Street and Sixth Avenue the project is slated to be completed by the end of 2014. The project’s mission is to create a building that can offer small and modest-sized companies big business infrastructure.
The building will also boast 28-stories of spectacular views of Bryant Park, ample lighting and easy-to-access trips to Times Square and Grand Central Station. The structure’s glass will consist of low-iron insulating glass that will increase thermal performance while maximizing transparency and visible light transmittance.
Also included in the plans for the new iconic Manhattan project will be two outdoor terraces and a green roof. The project, which brought on Viridian Energy & Environmental as sustainable design consultants, utilizes energy-saving mechanical systems and co-generation and is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
