The Sprout Living Lamp project, created by Emily Paul, utilizes found objects and real plants to encourage users to think outside the box about where one can incorporate greenery into their lives. The lamp itself was found rather than purchased, and the base was transformed into a succulent terrarium. The lampshade was also planted with succulents. Since the shade is opaque, when lit the lamp emits a low, romantic glow. For more light, the shade can be removed and displayed beside the base. With proper care, the Sprout Living Lamp will continually evolve and last for years.
