Shiny Chandelier Made From Hundreds of Upcycled Coffee Spoons by

Studio Verissimo has transformed hundreds of single use coffee stirrers into a gorgeous hanging chandelier. The Spoon Light is made from used plastic spoons used that are bound for the garbage. Every day, hundreds of thousands of these tiny sticks end up in the trash because they are only used once. Instead of contributing to a landfill, Studio Verissimo turned the waste into a luxurious lamp.

Plastic stirrers?? Cannot believe that’s the material that created this masterpiece!

This is a good use of something that is so overlooked in our every day lives!

Who knew plastic coffee stirrers could look so much like crystal?

I love this idea and really appreciate the reuse of the coffee stirrers, but wish that the configuration would have been a little more lively. Maybe play off the idea that they are a coffee stirrer in some way. The final shape is a pretty traditional chandelier shape. Great job!
